TWO MONTHS!

It's been an eventful time. For example, we've developed the new hit game "George Washington Lego Head." It's been met with much critical acclaim and giggling.

We had coffee at the ever delicious Random Order on Alberta (or, as Will calls it, "Fat Alberta") with Matt & Keri.
Entirely without meaning to, Liam is dressed in Matt's signature plaid shirt look. I suspect Liam is actually a groupie.

Rudy Rutabaga through my new fish eye lens! She's 80% nose!

Sporting the Retired-Florida-Jewish-Grandfather look with Gamma in the ever-tasty Little Big Burger. (Liam will have to wait a while for those truffle fries)

New favorite activity: Pulling chest hair!
One of the many incidents of night time sleepy baby torture: his arm position was perfect for sporting a Spanish dancer look.
St John's bridge as seen from...
Trek in the Park (which was a massive disappointment, I have to admit). I still like it in theory.

Liam has figured out how to work the camera. Work it, Liam. Snap. Work it, baby. With the way kids master technology these days, he'll probably actually be working the camera in a month or two.
This, I believe, leaves no question as to why we sometimes refer to him as "Fatface McGee"
This should really say, "Bananas over Mommy's boobs."

Sporting the "Hemingway in Key West" look...that is, if Hemingway had a Monsters, Inc. onesy.
He probably did wear one. At least when he was really toasted.

Cuddles with Gamma! Oy Vey!
Chunkin' it up with Daddy.
A true highlight of our final days in Portland: My dear dear friends Ady and Eric brought us Indian food and good times...
...and their wee committed nudist.
...who is really an attack monster in disguise
Ady's clever guise to get Quinn to stay still for two seconds: "There's...um...SOMETHING IN MY EYE...yeah...you'd better check it out!"
Liam sporting one of Ady's fabulous reclaimed sweater creations. We'll have to travel somewhere cold this year so he can wear it.
Another highlight: The grandparents meet!
Grandma Spates and Liam...color coordinated artists in residence.
A neighborhood stroll through Laurelhurst prior to pigging out at Laurelhurst Market. yummmmmm.
Bill & Denise trade in the humidity of South Carolina for a pleasant day at the Farmer's Market...sadly, our last in Portland. We've been going since Liam was only one week old.

Messing about with my new toy (care of my lovely husband)...the fisheye lens...on the road to Multnomah Falls

The falls weren't the only uncontrollable stream that day...Liam had a poo-splosion that required the purchase of an entirely new outfit. Oh darn.

Chillin' with Dr. Chris...the best pediatrician a baby could hope for. We'll miss him when we're in Doha :(
Stunning VW and mini VW van on Hawthorne

Goodbye, Portland...goodbye, lovely, wonderful family...goodbye delicious bacon...we miss you already. XOXOXOXOXOXO
